A year already?

It blows my mind how much your life can change in a year. This past weekend we celebrated my husbands birthday (Happy Birthday Hunny!!) and it was amazing to me how fast the past year went. Last year we had just found out we were expecting, we were having a party (as we normally do), and I was passing off drinks like it was going out of style. I got called out on it too. My excuse? "Oh, I have to work in the morning." This year, little one was here! I wondered where the last year of my life went. Wasn't it just a few months ago I was staring at this big fat stick??

Let's be real though...we still passed off the baby to grandma & grandpa and partied it up...Judge away but I totally enjoyed having a drink and not worrying about the little bug. Also, the smile I got when I got her up Monday morning (I worked Sunday night and didn't see her for a full day! Boo!) legit made my heart melt.

Point to this story? Time...slow down, just a little.

The Disney Days of Summer

I love summer and the last time I was in Walt Disney World was in the middle of August. Talk about Summer. I love the sunshine, the pool, the long days, the fireflies; I think it just has something to do with the warmth and the sunshine. It always puts me in a good mood. Anyways, here’s some of my favorite things about Summer in Disney!

1) Ice Cream! (Who doesn't enjoy a Dole Whip?)

2) The Water Features! (this guy spurts water at you!)

3) The Thunder & Lightning Storms!

4) Air Conditioned Rides!

So what are some of your favorite things about Summer? Not only in Disney but everywhere!

3 Bean Soup!

Slowly but surely I will continue to be around; I promise! Things are sortofkindamaybe starting to look up around here. I even got her to take this fantastic heaven of a nap today. ...in which I sat on my butt in silence and played candy crush. Go ahead; judge. I know you want to! Anyway...

When we first had Munchabelle my mother in law made us a bunch of crockpot meals to help us out. She got all of the ingredients together and all we needed to do was throw them in the pot. Seriously so helpful. One of my favorites was this awesome 3 bean soup. We never added the peppers but I bet it’s pretty good that way.

Ingredients:
-          1 can black beans
-          1 can cannellini beans
-          1 can light red kidney beans
-          1 cup water
-          2 cans tomato
-          1 cup pasta
Directions:
-          Pour 3 cans beans (drained) and 2 cans  in crock pot
-          Add 1 cup water
-          Cook on low 4 hours
-          Add pasta (adding more or less depending on preference) and cook 30 minutes longer
 -          *can also add 2  chopped peppers*
I also covered it in shredded cheese. It was so delicious!
